Base Tours

30th Space Wing Public Affairs hosts a windshield tour of portions of Vandenberg Air Force Base, highlighting its missions and military life. Monthly tours are on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

Vandenberg Air Force Base is first and foremost an active-duty military installation, as well as the preeminent west-coast spaceport and test range. It provides indispensable launch, landing, and range capabilities to the nation.

Tours are limited to 30 visitors. Groups are welcome on the monthly tour, however please limit your party to no more than 5 members. Participants 16 years and older will need to provide a driver's license number or passport. For participants under 16 years of age, only name and date of birth are required. If you plan to attend please send the following information for each member of your party to at least 15 days in advance of the tour.

 • Month of tour
 • Full name (for each party member)
 • Date of birth (for each party member)
 • Driver's license number and state of issue (for each party member)
