Leadership is the foundation on which the Air Force achieves success. Therefore, from September 2008 to August 2009, Vandenberg Air Force Base, in conjunction with Air Force Space Command, will focus on the critical role leaders play in executing the mission. Under the banner "Year of Leadership," we will conduct activities that emphasize important leadership attributes and traits; improve leadership focus; enhance leadership skills and increase leadership interaction with those we lead.
