Hot Shots part duex!
The final eight members of Vandenberg's Hot Shots crew and their families pose with Col. Nina Armagno, 30th Space Wing commander, and other members of Vandenberg's Fire Department, after returning to base Friday, July 13. The Vandenberg Hot Shot crew spent more than two weeks fighting the wildland fires that devastated Colorado and Wyoming. On their return home, this Hot Shots crew also witnessed a United Parcel Service truck lose control and flip off of the highway. First on scene, the Hot Shots provided first aid and controlled the scene until the California Highway Patrol could respond.
