VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – A Vandenberg Fire Department firefighter coils a hose in order to douse an area of land with water while containing a brush fire on Highway 1 here Wednesday, May 9, 2013. Vandenberg firefighters were the first responders to the 10 acre fire and, with the help of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and the U.S. Forest Service, contained the fire within two hours.
