Charles Spice, superintendent of operations for the National Reconnaissance Office at Vandenberg, is given the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy’s Distinguished Graduate Award for Class 08D by the Chief Master Sgt. Dennis Norman, commandant of the SNCOA, and Chief Master Sgt. Rodney McKinley, the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Selection as distinguished graduate is based on his total performance during the class. Receiving this award is a significant achievement as Sergeant Spice was selected from a class of 312 students from across the Air Force, Army and Coast Guard, including seven international students, representing the “best” of the enlisted corps.
