Vandenberg honors fallen servicemembers with 'A Run to Remember'

From Oct. 20 to Nov. 11, "A Run to Remember" allows active duty military, civilians, contractors and retirees to run one mile for each servicemember who fell in the line of duty in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. For each mile, the runner is asked to donate $5 to charities within the Combined Federal Campaign that benefit wounded and fallen warriors. AFSPC enacts uniform policy change

Charles Spice, superintendent of operations for the National Reconnaissance Office at Vandenberg, is given the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy’s Distinguished Graduate Award for Class 08D by the Chief Master Sgt. Dennis Norman, commandant of the SNCOA, and Chief Master Sgt. Rodney McKinley, the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Selection as distinguished graduate is based on his total performance during the class.
