MCAS Miramar Air Show 2007

MIRAMAR, Calif. -- The Thunderbirds soar through the skies of Southern California during their performance at the 2007 Miramar Air Show on Oct. 13.The show was in commemoration of the Air Force's 60th anniversary. It was the first time in 35 years that the Thunderbirds have taken center stage at Miramar, which is traditionally filled by the U.S. Navy's official air demonstration team the Blue Angels. Operation Iraqi Freedom

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Airman 1st Class Michael Brady, 732nd Air Expeditionary Group combat cameraman, sips water while being assessed upon arrival at the Air Force Theater Hospital here Oct 14. Airman Brady was transferred from the 28th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad. He was augmenting the Army in a non-traditional "in-lieu-of" tasking when he was wounded by sniper fire while on patrol in Ad Diwaniyah, Iraq.
