SUNNYVALE, Calif.-- The Travis Air Force Base Honor Guard team traveled here to post the colors during the closing ceremony of Onizuka Air Force Station here, Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Built in 1960, Onizuka AFS was originally known as the Air Force Satellite Test Center. It was selected for closure by the Base Closure and Realignment Commission in 2005, with the recommendation to move operations to Vandenberg Air Force Base, in order to consolidate satellite command and control operations while reducing excess infrastructure. VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - The Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 804, hosted its 3rd Annual Bowling Pin Shoot at the Rod and Gun Club here Friday, July 23, 2010. More than 70 officials from law enforcement agencies that support the 30th Space Wing participated in the annual competition, including the Air Force OSI, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Secret Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service, Santa Barbara County Sheriff and local police departments.
