VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - Members from NASA, the United Launch Alliance, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Team V address questions from local and international media during the news conference for the Delta II launch at the NASA Vandenberg resident office Tuesday, June 6, 2011. The launch of the Aquarius/SAC-D observatory aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket is scheduled for Thursday, June 9. Liftoff will be from NASA’s Space Launch Complex 2 at Vandenberg. Liftoff is targeted to occur during a five-minute launch window that opens at 7:20 a.m. PDT.
