VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – Airman 1st Class Zachary Baldenegro, a 30th Security Forces Squadron conservation officer, cleans the horseshoe of Six Eagle during a daily regimen here Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. The horseshoe is made of a rubber composite that prevents severe cuts, reduces fatigue and provides adequate protection for the horse’s foot.
