The Vandenberg AFSA Chapter adopted two miles of state highway bringing 36 members out to remove 2,000 pounds of trash and beautifying over 8 miles. They revitalized the chapter's scholarship program delivering $600 in educational scholarships. The chapter also briefed during five Airman Leadership School classes and to 68 of Vandeberg?s newest senior noncommissioned officers on the importance of private organizations. The members also beautified the POW/MIA memorial spending five hours cleaning and replacing $250 in flags for more than 50,000 patrons that visit it. Please join Col. Team V rolls into the Critical Days of Summer with a crash
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Team V emergency personnel respond to a staged drunk driving accident in front of the Base Fitness Center here Thursday, May 24, 2012. Airmen Against Drunk Driving teamed up with Vandenberg first responders to give base personnel a firsthand experience with the immediate consequences of impaired driving.
