Active duty Airmen reported to the POD in an exercise simulating mass immunization against anthrax, and base authorities used the opportunity to distribute this year’s real world influenza vaccine. The POD distributed Skittles candy representing the anthrax prophylaxis to over 1,900 Airmen and then vaccinated over 1,500 Airmen for influenza, raising the wing’s flu vaccination rate to over 90%.
