Investigators confirm at least $1M of marijuana discovered on Vandenberg Release Number: 020313 3/8/2013 - VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif.  -- Investigators confirmed that the large amount of illegal drugs discovered near an overturned boat north of Wall Beach here Thursday is marijuana with an estimated value of at least $1million. Homeland Security Investigations arrived here at approximately 5:40 p.m. and assumed control of the investigation. HSI removed the drugs as evidence and are in the process of developing a plan to remove the boat, fuel and outboard motor. More information will be released as it becomes available. -30-
