Atlas V launch scheduled for Sept. 13 Release Number: 030812 8/28/2012 - VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif.  -- Vandenberg officials here Monday rescheduled the launch of a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying a National Reconnaissance Office payload to Sept. 13. The rocket is scheduled to launch from Space Launch Complex-3 here pending final testing of the Mission Flight Control Center, which malfunctioned during the initial launch attempt Aug 2.
