Mission
The 2nd Range Operations Squadron executes Command and Control of the Western Range in direct support of Spacelift Operations, Ballistic Missile Test and Aeronautical Test and Evaluation. 2 ROPS protects the Nation's access to Space and Public Safety by developing Mission Flight Rules and, if required, Terminating Flight. Additionally, 2 ROPS is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Western Range operations to include; pre-launch, launch and aeronautical.
