Mission

Command and control the Western Range to assure access to space and advance air and space combat capabilities.

About the 30th Operations Group

The 30th Operations Group (30 OG) commands and controls the Western Range and directs range resources in support of space launches, missile test launches and aeronautical and space surveillance operations. 30 OG also operates and maintains base communication systems and provides direct support for range operations, maintenance and modernization and sustainment efforts. To accomplish this nationally critical mission, the group relies on the combined efforts of our standardization/evaluation team and six diverse squadrons: 30th Operations Support Squadron, 30th Space Communications Squadron, 2d Range Operations Squadron, 30th Range Management Squadron, 30th Weather Squadron and 76th Helicopter Squadron.

Mission

Execute evaluations of mission-ready operators, and lead standardization of Spacelift and Western Range operations and training.

Vision

30 OG's best operators; sets the standard for Spacelift operations.
