The G.I. Java reopens

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE, Calif. -- The G.I. java will be reopening at the Bomarc dormitory module March 20 at 4 p.m. The java will offer Airmen free milkshakes, coffee and a quiet relaxing atmosphere. STEP promotions, or Stripes for Exceptional Performers, are immediate promotions given to Airmen who show an ability to excel beyond that of their current rank. 2006 Combined Federal Campaign close-out

Vandenberg closed out the 2006 Combined Federal Campaign on Oct. 27 with 20 percent participation from base employees and active duty personnel who raised more than $173,000 in contributions.
